Outstanding... however hard to download if you don't have a Facebook account. Interesting how they got the "Deutscher Orden" (The highest of the highest medals) listing as being for accomplishments in art and science. I guess so few were awarded, they really didn't know.

Makes one wonder if there was ever this situation... a little boy sitting on his grandfather's lap asks, "Granddad, what did you do in the great world war ii?"
He answers, "well I spent 12 hours a day for 2 years researching and writing a 93 page report on all the German Medals"

On a serious note.. Think of all the time this took to compile... It really is amazing if you think about it. I am sure some of this started in the 30's but all the manhours and research for the US Gov't to put this together.. Pretty interesting if you think about it...
