    Ribbon Bar Swords

    Question.

Are the swords used on the medal bar for the Combatants Cross Of Honour (Hindenburg Coss) the same as those used on the KVKII medal bar.

    Thanking in advance.

    Regards ...

No the Hindenburg Cross' swords are darker then the KVK2's.

            And another....

... Note that these are all typical, WW2 era swords....

              It is hard to discern....

... but the first example has 2 swords that are identical, and gilt. Second example, exact same style of swords, but both have a bronze finish...

                Now here's an interesting one...

... sounds like Frank's example... Bronze swords on the KVK2wX and gilt on the HKwX... Note we have a very different size and style of swords from the first 2 examples.

                  And another...

... a little easier to see. Bronze swords on the KVK2wX and gilt on the HKwX. Again, the larger, pre-WW2 style swords with excellent detail!

Here's an interesting one! Both ribbons bear early, bronzed swords!
