Heed help with Luftschutz medal

I have this medal bar and I being told that Luftschutz medal is fake because numbers of the year 1938 has not being smashed in. The beck of my medal look like a sphere with year written on it and I being told it means it's fake. Pleas let me know if this is truth.

I have just taken a look at a Luftshutz medal I own and its reverse looks pretty much the same. What do you mean by "smashed in", if you mean the year 1938 should be stamped inwards rather than in relief then I don't think that is correct.

This is just about as PERFECT a medal bar as anyone could hope for!

What I meant, that year instead being raise it's must be depressed. Here is example of the medal with depression.

i see, what you mean. It is an original example, like the whole bar is. As there were different makers for medals, the details can differ a bit on different pieces.
No problem at all.
