    Ost medals

    Hello all
I have these three winter campaign medals for some time.
The first one is without maker mark, second is marked (3) Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid and third is marked (19) E. Ferdinand Wiedmann, Frankfurt
First medal looks like to be painted with green varnish.
Your valued opinions and comments are most welcome.
    Thanks. Regards

    2 and 3 look good!

The first was looks wrong due to the poor quality script...and the varnish finish!

I am not liking the first one either. Detail is just not there. Is the weight comparable to the others?

Agree, first one has really soft details in script and the eagle.

I don't have a problem with any of this Ostmedaillen.
Anyways, a few more photos pc the first OM would be great.

          Cheers,
          Philipp

            Thank you all for replies.
The weight of the first is comparable to other two.
Here are better photos of the first ost medal.

              Hello Remick,

thank you for the additional photos.

Unfortunately I have to give this medal

The details on the backside are very poor and the some of the letters seem to be croocked.

              Cheers,
              Philipp

                Thank you Philipp.
I had the same thoughts, but it is always good to hear second opinion.

                Regards,
                David

                    Nice ones
I like 'em. Are either of them marked? The first one has a really nice finish to it.

                        Thank you both.
I have looked on them more closely and both appear to be marked.
First one is marked 1 (?) and the other with 20 (Zimmermann), as I could read from close up.
Does anyone see otherwise or have any other thoughts on these?
Should take a closer look next time as soon as they come in

                        Best regards
                        David
