Thanks, and it certainly may be, but I want to be sure before I throw it on the junk pile. Can you elaborate on the "Ohio fake" ?

I have similar bars in my fake files, they are from other threads. You can also do a search here in "General Whermacht Awards" section for "Ohio"

Here are few bars that are Ohio fakes, they have same style and hardware as your bar.

I agree definately an Ohio fake.

Jerry as hlynur76 suggested, do a search and you will see what to look out for. The characteristics of these ribbon bars will soon become easy to spot.
