Its a nice original "Schwedter Adler"

This is a "Dragoon Eagle" (Schwedter Adler) Traditions eagle worn between the eagle & hat wreath of a WW2 German Army Visor ....originally given to the 2nd & 4th Troops of Cav. Regt. 6. (See any good Ref. book or do a search of "traditional Insignia of the Wehr."....for a complete rundown.
