    13 March medal on E-stand

Is it just a really worn down medal or is it bad?
I dont like the thick letters on the reverse or the chain or the flat eaglechest on the obverse.
And obviously its the wrong ribbon, and that also looks fishy.

It´s been up since 24/6 and no one has reacted to this so maybe its a good one afterall. But still... What do you say? Hard life or fake?

A good question. The wear on it is very excessive but I think I have a match: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...highlight=mask

This medal looks original to me but it had hard a time over the years.

I´m comparing this medal with my cased one. I can´t see much difference here, only the heavy worn and wrong ribbon of corse.

I think what yours hlynur76 is close, there are small diffrences, the dots in the "Ü" are bigger on your medal and the date/year are thiker and flat on the E-stand medal.
And the disscused medal has a thin hint of a mask on the guy on the right, sadly the left mans face are completly worn down so there in no details left.

It´s hard to tell then medals are worndown like this.
But i wonder what a really worndown maskfake looks like... Something like this one maybe?
Im not saying it is a fake but i wouldent have bought it if i came across it, and i wonder if that would have been a misstake or not.

What made me think last night was why this medal is so much worn down.

Is this the best way for the faker to make it look like heavy worn to hide the details of a copy
