10 Orden und Ehrenzeichen Ribbon bar

    Hello,

I am not a specialist in ribbon bars, but I have the opportunity to acquire this ribbon bar.

I would like to know if this combination of 'Orden' is possible and if the ribbon bar is WWII period original or postwar. I see some of these bars identified as 57-er's. I suppose postwar.

Also I can find most of the 'Ehrenzeichen' except the one on the far right.

Perhaps someone knows where this one stands for?

    Thanks for our help.

                The Ohio-dude sure loves divices.

BTW, is it even possible to have a 1939-spange on a non combatant 1914-ribbon? I dont think so

I thought Ohio was known for other things than fake ribbon bars....

So, what about this one? Just to compare. This one should be ok. I liked the SS-service bar, that's why I gave it a chance.

Brian, if possible, can you be a bit more explicit.

Got these from a well known reputable militaria seller.

Would like to tell them why they would be fake.

                        Regards

I'm always skeptical of these devices given how uncommon they actually are. I just don't like how they are not uniform and have a fairly rough finish.

They remind me of this example...

OK, it is always good to be skeptical about these things.

But, unfortunately for me, this will not be enough to go complaining.

Could you perhaps post a picture of a good one?

                            Regards

                              See this example...

                              http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/rela...s/ss_runes.htm

I think the bar itself is probably good, even with the upside down swords on the WMC. I just worry that a Heer LS eagle was replaced with those runes.

                              Curious what others think...
