        Very interesting, i haven't seen this particular badge before. The central shield with sword and hydra is the symbol of the Selbstschutz Oberschlesien so certainly a Freikorps unit or organistaion related to them. I would guess from the initials something along the lines of

        Landes schutz verein (or verband?) Ober Schlesien

        Should be moved to the Freikorps forum

          Yes, the shield looks like SSOS (Selbstschutz Oberschlesien).

          The big question is, what "LSV" really means.....There are so many different possibilities.
