Urgent identification of german collection needed!

Hi guys, I just bought this lot today and know nothing of their origins or average sale prices, can anyone provide any identification and pricing on any of them?

Hi Botface, Not a good haul im affraid,
1 Watch no idea you will need to post much better photos of the front and rear of the watch for anyone to give you a good idea on its vintage
    2 WW1 honour cross £6-£8
3 difficult to tell its either a good 25 year true service cross with a broken ribbon ring or an outright fake from this altitude im going to say fake but better pictures are the key.
4 I think fake SS skull
5 I think fake SS eagle
    6 ?????
7 WW2 EK2 Looks good but its very beaten up and is missing the ring £6-£8
8 Tinny but no idea if its right or not.

If your thinking about getting into German awards i would suggest doing some heavy reading on the forum before buying anything else, I see your previous post was about an SS Skull and Eagle these are among the most faked items and you need to do your homework before even thinking about buying anything.

    Cheers

Thanks for your quick response, about number 3, I'm pretty sure its original, Any idea of a price for it in its current condition?

Hi Botface if it is real and i have to say im far from convinced! its in really bad condition has the wrong ribbon and a replaced ribbon ring......around £4 this is a really common medal and really nice cased examples can be picked up for about £40
Seriously if you want to buy good German items start out by reading the forums and finding out what interests you then look on the E-stand make a few small purchases and get used to handling real period awards. most of what you will find in the real world will be bad to the bone. the watch may be good but you need to post better pics in the right forum. i would suggest trying the Wehrmacht equipment forum further down the page

Here's the breakdown as I see it-

            1. Nice looking older watch, but no idea
            2. 1914-18 WW1 Service Hindenburg Cross
            3. 25 year Faithful Service cross, the ribbon on this one is for a KVK2 & the ring is for a key chain & that pin set up is wild.
            4. Modern repro (fake) SS cap eagle
            5. Modern repro (fake) SS cap skull
            6. this is Russian, not German, I believe a Tankers badge
            7. WW1 1914 Iron cross 2nd class with broken loop
            8. This tinnie may be OK, but not my area

Personally, I might have paid $30, $40 max for this lot, that is if the watch worked.
            Regards,
            Chris

Always interested in buying Ribbon Bars or anything Ribbon Bar related!!
