Never seen it before but Design and Quality makes me believe it could be a rare Authentic Zinc made Piece

    Or what Material is it?

Looks pretty good, and not to be a spoil sport, but our dearest Staegemeir has been selling quite a few of these over the last year.

Hopefully some members with more knowleadge of these can step up and give more information on it.

        Cheers,

        Glen

            Hello,

No I would not say one way or another whether it is a copy or not...I personally do not know enough about them. But I know from keeping an eye on his products on www.best-antiques.de I have seen more than a few as the weeks have passed by.

Unfortunately with him, every once in awhile some of what he sells is original so maybe these medallions are not faked much at all.

I was only suggesting that before laying some good money for one, I would just try and get some opinions on it first.

            Cheers,

            Glen

Possible copy or fantasy piece, it looks like the front of one medal and the back of another--anyway the details on this example do not make me believe it is right,

                I think it's a fantasy piece..
look at the reverse, the Poundsterling symbol is very very suspected!!
