    Red cross medal and case

    Hi,
    Posted this medal and case in the Police & Civil Organizations Forum but did not get any response so thought I would try it here, could anyone tell me if this is a genuine set and if so what it was awarded for, thanks for any help in advance.

        Looks like the 37~39 issue of the 2nd class. I do not like the obverse myself looks like a casting

          The Medal is original in my opinion, never saw a case for the medal but it looks also good.

            In comparison to my own original I will say that this one is a nice original.

            The case may have been privately made for it? Not sure if these were issued in a case or not. Have never seen one.

              DRK Medal

              The medal is original and I have seen a case before but this medal (and ribbon) do not seem to fit too well in the case shown so I would conclude that the case is not contempory to the medal.

                Thanks all for the comments about the badge and case. The badge itself fits perfectly into the recess in the case but the ring does not so I've always wondered about it. They look like they have been together a long time but how long I dont know.
