    no makers mark

ive looked closely and can not see any makers mark at all, or any marks around the edge.

Can we have a look at the edge /seem of the medal, perhaps near the ring?

I see a flaw with the lower arm of the Swastika.
This is present with the two eagles as you shown your badge askew, at the 9o'clock and 3 o'clock positions.
      IMHO: a cast reproduction.

          new pics of edge etc

          here are the extra pics,
this medal came from a guy who got it from an old man who had a stamp ,coin and medal shop as payment for something or other about 12 years ago.

he seems to think all he has is genuine, it does feel like a good quality piece.

            Eagles

I'm by NO means an expert at any of this..but I saw something that caught my eye. I might be wrong, tell me if I am. It looks to me that the "Top" and "Bottom" Eagle are Identical with each other but not with the "Left" and "Right" one. It looks to me that two of the Eagles are a little Taller than the other two. I know it sounds crazy but that's the way it looks to me. Maybe the angle of the Camera? Butch

This type crops up with some regularity and is not a type that I would touch. The best way to recognise these is the wonky swaz's and the vulture look to the eagles heads. They are not cast but struck medals and I have never seen a marked one. My best guess on these is a very old copy circa probably 1960s and I would say Souval is a good shot for the maker as they produced post war versions of almost everything using proper techniques but with new dies. Their copy NSDAP service medals also have a strange misproportioned swaz.
When you compare this medal to one of the silver stamped Vienna or Berlin mint examples the differences become horribly apparent.

                    I think its Spanish-made @ 1950-1960.
