    Spanisch Blue Division Medal

    I welcome colleagues.
Prompt on originality of the given medal.
    Bronze. Presumably Spanish manufacture...
    Study of details the good.
The lowered swastika in a circle on the forward party of a medal and Letter N turned, on an underside, in a word "DIVIZION" confuses.
    How your opinion?

!!!!! I can not attach a picture... Who will help?

Sorry my friend, but you can be sure, these well known medals with the turned "N" are not made in Germany in 1944 and neither in Spain for Blue Division veterans. So they must be only fakes. Somebody told me several years before than they were made in Barcelona. I don´t know the meaning of the turned "N". Maybe a sign to detect these pieces as fakes??? Watching the details obviously it was not necessary.
By the way, the ribbon is a post 45 too.

          Thanks for your opinion.
          But the facts tell another.
My friend is engaged in business with awards and some times he had to buy complete sets of awards of veterans who was at war in Spain in German families. Together with reading and writing and diplomas there were laths of awards (made not presently) among which there were these medals. And so in two cases on medals there was a turned letter "N", he has paid attention to it. Cannot be what on these laths of awards of that time there were modern copies! I can assume that this medal is made by the Spanish manufacturer and is possible it is made already after 1945. Pay attention to good study of details...

Hello, I think this version is a fake. Not german or spanish genuine made. Sorry.

            regards
            Mike

                Dear friend
I don´t know why you are asking for opinions if you aren´t ready to change your point of view. If you´re pretty sure about originality... why to ask???
I´ve researching on this award for decades and I can tell with no doubt than your medal is a fake, not made for veterans but to be sold to collectors, wherever the provenience was. Wouldn´t it be the first time when a copy was included in a lot with original items.
                Sorry for you.

                    Spanish Blue Division Medal

I also have an interest in the Spanish Blue Division's (my wife being from Madrid). My Medal has the correct “N“ in DIVISION. I purchased mine from someone in Poland. I asked where they got it, and they told me from the local flee market. It only had the medal w/no ribbon, so I picked up ribbon on eBay (yes, I’m sure the ribbon’s real, wink, wink). Scheisse, mine could be a fake! But it looks real to me, & the price was right! Nuff said!
