    GOLD AFRIKA ring ,opinions please

    Hi guy's

    This AFRIKA RING comes straight from the woodwork.
    These where ,as far as I know ,all privately made by local (Egyptian/Tunesian) Goldsmith.

    What do you think ??

      I like the ring alot design wise. There were a lot of rings that were made by the local Arabs for sale to either side. I would expect to see a bit different stamping though. I would also venture to say that rings were being produced in Germany for the returning vets. I have several of these DAK/tropical rings. I do like this one. Matt

        the green verdigres (sorry for my terrible spelling) or what looks like verdigres would make me think its more likly thinly pounded brass compared to gold but I could be wrong and have been before. Matt

          Hello

          Looks fine to me. Have you determined it is Gold?? If it is, then that would be a clue that it is the real deal. Only my opinion

            I do not know yet if it is gold.
