        I would not dismiss these as fakes yet, I think they look as spanish made post war examples....but let´s wait and see if any spanish collectors like Greg can shed a light on these two examples.

        The spanish post war manufactured examples are very crude, not a pretty sight.

          As my friend Peppe said they are both medals made in Spain in the 50´s as replacement awards for spanish veterans. Both are more expensive and desiderable than the german medals in itself. You can see these in good reference books. I´m remembering... the KVK pictured here can be seen in The War Merit Cross by Gordon Willianson, published two years ago.
          Anycase... This kind of awards have been made for collectors using original dies in the last decade. We need a close up view of them to say if they are old or new. At the moment I think the KVK could be a new one. If you post best pictures I could say something else.
