Although these tab-back bars can be "Frankensteined" together, there is usually some evidence of it on the back.

Yours looks good to me though.
            Regards,
            Chris

              .

From the pics it looks textbook and in a top condition. But it will not hurt to try have it under a blacklight just to see what happens. But thinks its all right

You are right... it is a little weird when thinking about it.. but could be the metal have aged, and the ribbon not soo much... could be... but I can understand your concern.

I wonder if the ribbons will clove under the uv/blacklight?

Well thats a good sign. But you can not base it only on a uv test.

The metal can have reacted different than the ribbon, and aged.... it is very possible... I think worth case...It could have been restored... early postwar... but how knows... be happy with the item... its textbook, maybe we just speculate too much

Nothing for my collection. I think ribbon bar is ok, but not ribbons. So as our mate said, it was probably restored

There's nothing to really stress out about on this bar, IMHO. If it were some super rare and unusual combination that someone was trying to sell for top dollar - maybe it would warrant breaking out the microscope.
