I have seen pictures of Soldaten with Narvik shields above their rank, NCOs with shields above their occupational badges. I have yet to see a pic of, say, a Soldat - for sake of arguement a Gefreider, with a Signal blitz AND a Narvik badge. In theory, the shield would be on top, with the blitz below it and the Gefreider's rank below that....but is there any photographic evidence of that having been done?
