who wore most awards or obscure ones

    Hi,
Which individual wore the most medals/awards and or obscure ones apart from Herman and Rudel.?

here is Oskar Prinz v. Preussen with what looks like a

Knight's Cross with Swords of the Royal House Order of Hohenzollern

in photo no2 the man behind him appears to have 2 rows of medal ribbons? also i believe due dates in the album he weres the black armband for his fathers death or perhaps his sons? ,there are some more photos that appear to be the funeral.

      Hello Merdock,

Actually, that officer in the background is wearing a full-size medal bar, not two rows of ribbons.

      Best regards,
      Tom

Interesting that in the lower photo of the first post, both the general and the officer behind him are wearing enlisted belt buckles.

Just shows there's something in a photo for everybody.

Indeed! So much can be learned just by studying photographs of the period.

                Best regards,
