Yes i would say the same case.Well the cross and case are original and belong to eachother.Not from the beginning but normal it is hard to trace if a medal and case are put together or not.
In this case it's a fact and after 65 years the case and medal are back to together again.Like a fairytail

This was my Deschler cased 50 Year that I just recently had to sell privately. It was directly obtained from a Vet family.

Hated to see it go, knowing would never get a shot at a better one.
