I noticed some letters on the padding under the ribbon...
Possibly done by a tailor? -

I can see the letters "E C" There was a tailer named "ECK"...is there a "K" anywhere there? Unusual place to put his name....very uncommon, if not unique!

Thanks for the comments. I'm hesitant to expose more of the letters by pulling the ribbon back so I'm going to leave it alone for now. More to come from my "west wall" collection!Comment
