    Please help me with thiese ones, good or bad

    I have read a lots of the thread regarding the Afrika Cuff title but I am not got any wiser.... So thanks for helping me

          i agree this looks bad ,the space in the P should be bigger than the space in the R as in my example, rgds Dave

            As Dave said, mostly, the difference in size of the R and P holes can be an indicator of a fake, as in this case, but not always.
            Here is my original and on mine you can see the zig-zag weave is the same all the way across the back, whilst on the thread starter, the weave either side of the words is a zig-zag, but changes to a 'tartan' in the area of the words. Also, notice the shape of the back of the hole in the O, which on fakes can often look square, whilst originals they a more circular. Mine does have the different size R and P holes.

              Hello Codeman

              The thread starter is classic fake from the 70's for sure. Tartan weave on reverse etc. Jerry is spot on, The holes for the R & P can be the same size on originals. But the weave for the lettering on the reverse is the key to spotting fakes. Also the fakes have a diamond shaped hole for the O on the reverse.
