Opinions on Hinderburg cross for widows.

Hello all, I need some opinions on Hinderburg cross for widows.
I got some worries. Didn't anyone take this one and just painted it black?

Looks original to me, but in rough shape. If you want more detailed opinions you should post it in the imperial section.

I think this one is okay...the most collected are the black painted iron core ones, but I have read somewhere that the bronze ones were painted black as well.
