Just picked up this piece. Admittedly, the pictures do sort of appear to have a bit of a mask fake quality, but i have made the mistake of buying several mask fakes in the past, and in hand, this one does not look at all like them. I was hoping for verification. Thank you in advance for your replies.

Thanks guys. I thought it was okay, but the pictures just looked a bit different to me than it did in hand, and it scared me a bit.

I understand your concern about this medal. I had my doubts about this type but it seems that these are textbook examples.

Take a look at this thread, it´s Austrian medal but I had same question as you had. I bought this set in the end.
