Memmel Land Medal - Opinion?

Excuse me to go off topic, but what does the MakerMark 'HC' mean. I can't seem to find it anywere.

It's a nice Memmel Land Medal! Never had the fortune to get one.. Does anybody know the price of one?

Dougie the market value indeed is around 200 euro's. I got mine cheap at 100 euro's but it came without a ribbon. But then again I bought a fake one first which I luckily could return.

Trying to find the document is nice to, took me quite a while.

Anyway the Memel mentioned in the topic seems OK indeed.

I do not like this medal, for me it lacks original memalnd character, letters are quite far from others and font is really thin or how to explain, I got only 2 memelandmedals but I simply do not like this one..

I own 3 memels all on bars.

When looking at the one in this thread the only thing I see is that the 'A''s
look the same. The 'A' in Marz the legs should be shorter than the legs of the 'A' in Memellands.

I'm going to change my original opinion from good memel to that it is possibly a copy.

The 'S' in Des & Memellandes should be different also and they are not.

No I am afraid I do not have the photo of the front of the medal anymore
