    Hello,

I just got this medal bar and I was wondering if it was good.

    Thanks,

    I once flew in a B-17, B-24, & a B-25. Next, I want to fire an 88 round.

It's the Austrian 1914-1918 Commemorative Medal.

          Kind regards

well, that's kind of what I thought-but then what's the last one and why doesn't IT have the swords?

The last one is most likely the Hungarian Commemorative Medal...though a rather faded one. A close-up would answer that, or if the owner can study it closer in hand.

The last ribbon does have swords but maybe you are referring to the Austrian one? Not sure why it doesn't have them but i have seen this before. For these Commemorative medals the Germans seemingly liked to add devices even though they were not necessarily called for.

              Kind regards

                Pierce,

It appears to be a very faded Austrian Medal of some kind. It does match the ribbon mentioned above. The white on the ribbon bar is very faded and soiled.

Yup- the Austrian one was worn with swords. I seriously doubt that's a faded Hungarian as the edge stripes are too thin and the rest of the ribbons, while faded, aren't THAT faded.
                  Still, I suspect it's original.

Mabye I should have used the word soiled.
