Anyone ever seen one of these?

I've been offered this, but it has no dates. I assume it's third reich with the red, black and white.

Any info would be appreciated! Scott

It looks like a badge from an Imperial veterans organization from Gundremmingen (in Bavaria).

Agreed. It is interesting in so far that it is produced by Deschler. Not necessarily TR. More likely pre TR as the Bavarian bit is so pronounced which is very unlike TR. Also no Swastika´s which it would have had during TR. Did Deschler continue to produce after WWII? If so there is a possibility that is from after WWII.

What would a fair offer be for something like this? Not sure how collectable or how rare these are. Scott

No more than 45. max. Thats in good shape, but they arent that desireable. So id offer 25. if i were you, as you always need to buy under retail in case you ever need to get your money back quickly. Rarer stuff is a different story. Thats my opinion. you can check der rittmeisters site, and see for yourself. I wouldnt pay retail for it personally unless i was specificly into that specific imperial division. Id try for even less if possible, or save your money for a third reich item as priority. They are very hard to sell anyway even for 25. in many cases.

Der Rittmeister has several Imperial vet organizations ribbons (including a Bavarian one) flucuating between 10 and 60 USD. Keep in mind when making your offer that, in my humble opinion, the items in that site are priced for the most part higher than the average market value.

              Good Luck.

Klaus Butschek has similar ones for €20.
