Looks like a 'carnival cross' used by various trade etc. societies during Fasching celebrations. These are still widely made and available today.

No my friend I don't know what it is, Robin is more than likely correct though I've seen very similar looking medals, but not of this quality......or quality looking I should say.


Fasching isn't that an old religious celebration of 'fertility' or something.......keep it as a good luck charm
