Sweden SS Ring

I want to preface this by saying I am no expert at all on rings. I have the opportunity to buy it and I want to check it out. In my research I have seen quite a few repos for sale but none with similar markings so my research has hit a dead end and I wanted to post it here where someone who has seen this kind of piece before can comment. The ring is marked with a "900" and a small circle with the runes in it on the outside of the bottom of the ring. This seemed kind of strange to me and seems like something the fakers would do to make it more desirable. It definitely does have some natural wear on it tho...I have no clue.... Help??

It's junk.

It's a common reproduction, stay away from "SS" marked rings.

That was kind of my gut on it as well. The markings on the outside of the ring didn't really sit right with me. The rest of the construction and such is completely beyond me.

It's good to see that my guy hasn't completely rotted out.
