Terrific looking piece. My cousin bought one at the Toronto Militaria show a few years ago...maybe three or four years now. His was the same except the SA logo on the front was not colored but just a silver outline...like how they do the Iron Cross on EK1 boxes.

I think he paid $300 US back then but I will ask him to confirm.

Very nice looking items. I have a question regarding the cases. I notice that the 1938 one shown has no logo on the top of the case, nor does the 2nd place one for the 1939...whereas the 4th place one for 1939 does have a logo on front of case, which is pretty striking looking by the way. I just wonder why some have the logo and others, even if it was a higher class(2nd as compared to 4th) don't have logo. Any info on the cases?
