    Hi!
Now,when I read your posts,I think everybody have a truth.
What do you think, maybe the "silver" (angelaufen/began) is the early and the bronze is the later?

      Hi Darrell
100% agree, I believe the books are misinformed as well.

        Hello,

Nice reference book. Here's my silver. The lore is that they were for officer's.

Follow this link and this is what Frank Heukemes says about the LDO packaging.

                Hello,

This one appears to be a bronze original, but with a thin layered silver wash. The LDO box looks good too, but I am not an expert.

The makers name stamp looks pretty sloppy and while I am no expert by any stretch of the imagination you may want to post that box in the packets and cases forum to see what Marcus or Allan have to say. IMO though the box looks like it may be a repro. Please understand no disrespect is intended, but if I had something in my collection and it was questioned I would want to know for sure.

                    Hello,

No problem! Just hope I don't end up with another addition in the "fake box".

                      Hi Dak,
That is a fear I have all the time. I have been burned so many times before I finally became a member here. I can't even tell you how much I have spent on fakes- Floch ek, NS junker PAB, EK2 spanges x2 and a few packets, I am surprised myself that I still collect, but being a member here has helped me dramatically. I too hope that your ACM box is O.K., but I fear it is not. Hope I'm wrong.
