Hi All

I saw this one on the net and want to hear youre tought's on it i dont like the golden colour pin.But is it a fake or not maker karked 4 on the needle

From the photos it looks like an original KVK1 in Zinc......late war. Better photos would help but it looks ok.

Looks ok for a late-war zinc KVK1 by S&L. I think the silver finish of the pin has worn away, leaving only the base metal. But I think I see silver finish in the recess of the maker marking and also on the underside of the pin and on both sides near the hinge area. I see no concerns with this one.

Go and buy it! It's an original example, typical for S&L. As Mike and Tom have pointed out, a late war cross but there is still some silver finish remaining on the front so it's a fairly decent example.
