Hi David,

The Spanish WBs are the dark side of the moon.
Nobody knows for sure the type of Spanish WB, several variations exist according to Hamelman's book.

Now about your back side,

I have seen time to time these 'custom screwback' assembly on awards, i remember a GAB and Luft GrAB with two tiny screback up and down of the badge. I don't think that type of assembly is official but i think is custom made by recipient or by a faker. Of course this doesn't mean that the badges of that type is for sure original and in your case back to 80's were a nice fake "spanish" WB with the normal screw device, of course not like yours.

Hi David,
what Chris says about the S.W.B. debate is treue and to there has been no definite conclusion. A serch for threads on the forum will reveal all.

Also mentioned by Chris this type of fixing is not official, any chance of a close up of the swastica ?
