    OSTVOLK 2nd CLASS

This is for sale locally and although it looks ok to me I'm no specialist when it comes to these.
I did think that the Ostvolk medals had hollow backs as most I have seen are not flat like this.
Is this correct or did some have flat backs too?

    Thanks, Tony

                Thanks guys,

Can't get any other pics unfortunately. Also, how can you tell the ribbon is not original, is there something I should be aware of?

So there's no issue with the flat back, I always thought these had a hollow type back but maybe I've just learned something??

In picture 2 you can just about see the dish type rear not a flatback as such. Must admit ive never heard of a hollow back of these. As for the ribbon not sure hard to say from the pics.

that medal is fine, the dish hasn't come out too well but you can see it on the right hand side, no probs with it
