    Hi there,

nice example. A late war piece from my point of view... And please have a look at the Crosses of the WH forum for comparisation http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...splay.php?f=21

    Merry Christmas!

In my opinion, this is not a late war example. Quite the contrary, it is an early war example struck from bronze.

Separately-applied suspension eyelet confirms early production run. Late war examples are zinc and have integral suspension eyelets.

Ah! Thank you very much, I always thought the sloppy "forge markings" around the cross were an indicator. It´s always nice to learn something!

                    Regards,

                    Kimb.
