    1931 MG Preisrichten Medallion, help?

I just picked up this medallion and I am trying to learn more about it. It measures 2 inches in diameter. Any info will be appreciated.
    There are two photos below.

Hi, these were unofficial medals awarded by individual regiments as prizes for shooting competitions etc.
They can be found in bronze, silver and gold, and were bought from retailers with blank spaces on the reverse, where the details, such as 1st prize, 2nd prize etc. the regiment or unit number, and the date of the competitoin would be inscribed.
Different designs existed depicting riflemen, machine gunners, artillery and tanks, the appropriate design was purchased, and the details engraved on the back!
It would originally come in a case, usually with the retailers name stamped into the lid liner!!
      Nice piece!!!! -Nigel
