Opinions on SS long service medal please!!!

So today i found an SS 8 year long service medal in an antique shop. The guy only had it marked for $225......

I wanted to buy it but i know there are tons of SS repros floating out there so i held off.

The medal is on hold for me at the moment as the dealer wasn't answering his phone. I probably only can have it on hold for a day or so.....opinions and thoughts are great appreciated!!!

Hello and why is it fake?

This is a common english reproduction .Produced in the late 70,s.This style has been discusssed on here many times.

Points to note that indicate this is bad.

Wreath.
Wreath binder.
Background stipling.
Jump ring.
Suspension ring(and notably its joined on the side and not at the bottom like originals).
Overall Colour.
