Hello, I just received this Anschluss Medal in the mail today, all opinions are welcome. Could someone please tell me if these medals were also made in zinc.

Hello, yes, some later medals were manufactured with zinc. But, this your medal, IMO is buntmetall...

Hi Guys,


In my opinion the case is absolutely fine, I have no contention with the eagle motif; nor anything else for that matter regarding the case, at all

I'm just a collector like yourselves and I confess not overly conversant in these actual medals, but I do own a couple and I have seen the odd fake of these.

So, for what little it's worth, I would also say I certainly like what I see with this medal, too.
