Whatever it is, my hunch is that its Spanish, Franco era...

A lot of the Spanish medals I have seen were die cast - makes it really difficult to pin down original versus repro, but many repros of the 1970's were cast in soft pewter-like silver or brass colored metal.

What is the symbolism on this? The obverse looks like a big hand opening a can of sardines,the reverse looks like wings surrounding an oven!! Or is that a train in a tunnel? Reminds me of a shrink showing me ink blots,heh..... what do YOU see?
