I have got this Ost medal & can't quite make out the makers mark , so i just wondered if anyone can identify the maker with these pics

Nice pictures of a very good example. Ostmedals are so non-descript that unless they are marked with an L number its impossisble to tell who the maker might be. Not only this, but many times they are poorly struck such as yours and it just compounds the problem of identification.

Another issue is that when dealing with a poorly struck number such as Mark's example, different people see different numbers. For the life of me I don't see a "51" on that ring as Fisherman does. Now with the L15 it is quite clear whereas seeing a 51 it takes a great leap of faith.
