Hello all,

As part of a lot I picked up today, was this Ostvolk award. Firstly can anyone tell me if it is gold or silver and secondly if it is pre 1945?

Yes, this is a nice original.
I think it could be Gold but I have seen silver with this brass pin.
There should be no makers mark on this example?

Hi Steve nice original, going off the crevasses and the rim personally I would say this is a silver example, as there appears to be traces of the finish in there(unless its the pics) All the best
