Medaille zur Erinnerung

Hello everyone,

I was wondering what anyone can tell me about the Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 13 März 1938, as well as the Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1 Oktober 1938? They seem to be a commemorative type award, but I am unsure of what they signified.
