Dear Mike,

I really like these plates. Besides, condition, are you focusing on particular units? I see a mix of Imperial and TR plates. From my perusal of sites the TR plates seem harder to ocme by than the Imperial ones.

Thank you for your comments. The Meissen Regimetal Plates are truly the "white gold" of militaria collecting.

I would certainly recommnd G. Duwe's "Wer True gedient hat....(for those who served loyaly....). A superb reference book covering both Imperial and Third Reich Meissen Regimental plates.


Thje rarest: SS Junker Schule. No one has ever seen an example!

Hi Mike,

I also believe these are 2 new display cases you have the plates in. I almost won my 1st Meissen plate off of the recent Empire auction but had to leave the computer to go on an errand with the wife.....lost out!

I will have to get a copy of that book. I assume it shows all plates?
