5 place ribbon bar with customs & fire device

Picked this up on E stand last week. I've been looking for a metal customs device for a while to complement my embroided customs ribbon bar and as a bonus it comes with a fire honor device. I have not seen one before. It has a few nics and cuts and a piece of the red enamel is missing but still in pretty good shape. If anyone has one could they please post it here to compare.

    Opinions welcome.

    Regards,
    AB.

The only problem I have with this is the patina of the devices does not match up to the ribbons themselves.

I would expect the ribbons to be a little more dirty rather than chrisp an clean as these are. The Fire ribbon especially.

                Thanks for your comment.

The ribbon bar is brighter in the photo than with the naked eye. Plus I would imagine that the close-ups would inhance the ribbons brightness. Here it is amongst my other bars which are all original with some having the same patina and colour than the bar in question. When grouped like this IMO it doesn't seem to be any different. Would you agree after seeing this?

ok Ill buy that. one sure way to tell is you could lift a corner of the device and see if it is brighter than the outside.

Thanks. I'll give that a try but oh so carefully

is that a 25 40 or 50 year service after all the NAZI ribbons.

That is actually set up incorrectly all the other LS medals were suppose to come first.

Hate to say it but the one above is out of order as well as any of the flower medals came after the LS awards and I have never seen one with three in this combination. He would have to be in both the Herr and Police at the same time which I do not think was possible.

Though the one above with the 25 year is one i like (good combination ) and the one on the bottom I like even more though It might of been improved by adding a 39 spange to the 14icII.

                            Hi byterock,

Thanks for pointing this out. There is photographic evidence of period ribbion bars constructed in the wrong order that I have seen so I don't always believe that to be an original ribbion bar it needs to be in the correct order BUT one has to be sceptical about any bar that is not.

I am comfortable with these bars being original.

Which bar features a Police device
