Yet another Ost front and packet

My luck seems to be holding up this week. I just acquired this Ost medal by Grossmann & Co. along with the packet. No ribbon. I now have examples from 8 different makers with packets.

There was a modern self adhesive label stuck to the back of the packet, that luckily was not held on very strongly. The name Walter Heubach is written on it and I wonder who he was? No damage was done and I saved the label.

    Cheers,
    Henry

Another nice "Ost" Henry, I like the rose paper bag too.
About the label, it seems to me that it may have been written by a relatively old person ? Maybe the original owner who was keeping his award in one of his drawers ?

I had the same impression, that it was an older person. Was it the man who earned it or the one who took it as a war trophy? And why use a sticker instead of just writing on the envelope?

A mystery that may never be solved.
