im 50 50 on this bar! why no long service or any other commemorative! but yes indeed a vet could well have decided that thats what he wanted on his bar!!!

if he added his LS and the commemoratives medals it could go from a 4 place to a 7! maybe if real he didnt want to pad out his bar!!!

Very few people n the TR did not wear their regalia. It was a national passion and medals counted-a LOT-in Nazi culture. Read "The Twelve Year Reich".

So, what sort of person would NOT have had an HKx but have had a Hungarian noncom medal?
There is actually a category of person.

I missed the ribbon being wrong. That did happen, but it was a very rare mistake (I can think of ONE and only ONE photograph where that mistakes shows up that I ahve seen-and I look, very dilligently).
Odds are now, for me, 25-1 against.
