Polizei ribbon bar opinion

This is a recent medal bar that I purchased as a group. My connection told me it belonged to Oblt SCHUPO Otto Laue. Another member pointed out that the bar did not have the Olympic medal 2nd class which I have the certificate for. Would this be unusual? The award seems rather large to be mounted on a medal bar.
