I once got a COA from TNT Norbert Graetz for a two ribbon ribbon bar. A blind man could see it was a fake, the ribbon bar not the COA, which is worth more than the bar. Jacques

If you must have a COA to give you the "warm fuzzies" about your item, IMO the best thing to do is post high quality photos on this Forum and let the commentators have at it.

Then, assuming your piece gets a good review, print off a copy of the thread and put it in your records.

That's the best COA I can think of.

            Amen to that.

There are many who think the COA that comes with their new item is absolute proof of authenticity which as we know may or may not be the case.
I'm sure Charlie will give you a COA for Eva's undies or one for a lump of brick that allegedly came from her boudoir in the Berghof. It doesn't make an item real or authentic.
Knowledge of what you spend your money on is the key, if in doubt, see Alan's advice above.

I think though on the other end of the question Detlevs COA is accepted by German insurance companies and it might carry some weight with the german zoll.

Thats only what I have heard around the campfire.

Well a COA is a one mans Guarantee and is as mutch worth in the long run as one mans opinion or reply on these Boards and will only come down to a one man opinion.

In Detlevs case his reputation and well earned respect is due to his customer service, money back garantee and kindness towards collectors.

So to answer the question - It´s Detlev for shure but not for his COA´s, for his service and reputation.
                Regards

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).
