    medal bar

    Hi folks,

Lets post some images of medal bars with only 3rd Reich decorations on them. If they have Imperial awards they don't count. Nothing earlier than a Hindenburg cross.

I will allow for a 1914 EK 2 if it has a 1939 2nd class spange attached to it.

So lets see what we can come up with.

Here are two from my collection.

This 1st medal bar has what is referred to as an Austrian/Hungarian mount (that is just a nickname and this mount was not popular). The medals slip off the back and it can be worn as a ribbon bar.
    Regards,
    Jody

Interesting Russian/Soviet mounting on the first. Suspect that wasn't worn in too many May Day parades on Red Square through?

        Here's another:

EK is non-magnetic and the westwall is tombak bronze.

Here is the one and only medal bar I own. It is on an Infantry Waffenrock. I have 4 Waffenrocks, however, only one is set up as a parade dress and the rest are set up as walking out dress.

Sorry the color is a bit washed out. I'm still trying to figure out the flash on this camera.

Jody, are you sure that we can't have, at least, one teeny WW1 EK2 on the bar??
