    Luftwaffe Medal bar, original?

    Hi

Bought this medal bar this summer and i whant to be 100% thats in an original
    medal bar from ww2.

And if its possible find out what person had this medal bar, (or at least speculate). We have iron cross 2 klass, luftwaffe 4 years and eastern front medal. Pilot at the eastfront?

And i also want to know what country the medal on the right is.
    Any help is appreciated.

          Hi,

Based on the listing of medals there would be no way to determine who the original recipient was. The medals listed are quite common. So unless the last medal is some exceptional rarity there would be no way to ID the owner.

              ok thanks for the answears.

I was more thinking of what service branch the soldier might have been in. pilot, singnalist, gunner?

                Hi,

The 2nd to last medal is for his participation in the Spanish Civil War. I am not familiar with the last medal.

There have been a lot of repros of medal bars recently using this type of construction. If you can post some more pictures, esp of the last medal that might help.

No way of knowing what type of person owned the bar.

                    Hello,

In my opinion, this is a fake put-together medal bar. The last medal is a Croatian Anton Pavelic Medal, which would be just about impossible to find on an original Third Reich Period assembly. As Gary B (Mr. Medal bar) mentioned: This type of construction is typical for many recently made fake assemblies. They usually feature all-Third Reich Period awards in combination with obscure foreign awards. An all-Third Reich Period bar with this many awards on it would be a very very scarce item. (And I can't over-emphasize that point enough.) This one is just blatantly wrong, in my opinion. And the pin on the back of this one is just horrible.

                    Best regards,
                    Tom

                      Hi Tom !

I agree - I also don't believe that this is a wartime-medal bar but I HAVE seen real German medal bars with the "Ante Pavelic bravery medal". Not Luftwaffe and not with so many medals, that's right.
Luftwaffe bars with 6 or 7 awards (including 1 or 2 foreign awards) are not common but can be found more often than "Heer"-bars. I have one with romanian "Order of the crown" and the "Kreuzzug gegen Kommunismus"-medal.

                      Regards,

                      Peter

ok thanks for the answears i have talked to detlev niemann and helmut weitze
and both said that it was 100% ww2 and was intrested to buy it from me.
If i could i would post more pictures but i only borrowed the camera.
But its hard to judge from the pictures and both detlev and helmut got to see better pictures.
And as smart as i was, I deleted the pictures from my harddrive
now i dont know what to think
